NURTURE AND ENCOURAGE THE GREAT MINDS OF TOMORROW

The presentation Nurture and encourage the great minds of tomorrow organized by the IEEE Education Romania section at the opening of the Conference IEEE International Conference on e-Health and Bioengineering organized in Iași, România, provided a brief overview of the IEEE organization at international and national level, underlining the results of the sections in Romania in successfully organizing conferences technical sponsored by IEEE.

In order to consolidate and expand these results, future members, who are now students or young professionals, need to be recruited, inspired and assisted in career development, critical skills acquisition, and leadership skills development.
The benefits of IEEE student membership and how IEEE Education Society can help them in their work have been presented by providing information about special programs and initiatives within IEEE.

ENGINEERING EDUCATION AND EVOCATIONS

The scientific and technological achievements of the last decades have led decisively to changes in the engineering education process, forcing it to adapt and transform continuously. Therefore, it becomes natural the necessity to organize meetings where the specialists, learning about the past and recent evolutions of engineering education, can discuss the transformations and perspectives of this field.

The section Engineering Education and Evocations was organized in this purpose in the frame of the 12th International Conference and Exhibition on Electromechanical and Energy Systems (SIELMEN) (http://sielmen.ucv.ro/) held in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova between  11-12 October 2019.
